Achievements
- Paramount maddalion award from WPDO in 2018.
- State and National level Gold Medalist (twice) in Kathak for IIT Fest – Mood Indigo –Powai and Malhar – St Xavier’s College Mumbai in the years – 1986,1987 and 1988.
- Honoured with Damyanti Joshi- Menaka Trophy for the Best Dancer in Maharashtra in the year 1986 and 1987.
- HIND RATNA AWARD 2003 by president Mr APJ Abdul Kalam.
- Honoured with Nritya Vidh Award in 2011 and 2012 by Sarfojiraje Bhosale Institute (Mumbai )
- INDIRA AWARD in 2010.
- Honoured by BHAKTI KALA (ISCKON – 1992).
- Honoured by ICCR (Delhi -2005) for producing the First African Classical Kathak Dancer in the world. Mr Brian Sekeko ( South Africa Johannesburg ).
- Honoured by both South African and Indian Government for my immense work in African townships in uniting Indo-Afro Culture.
- Honoured for my 15 years of service in Delhi ICCR, Collaboration with Government of India.
- Honoured , Felicitated and featured and performed in the classical , semi-classical ,jazz, hip-hop ,contemporary ,fusion work, tap, gumboot dancing, flamingo dancing and many other known forms.
